Adult Day Health Care
Adult Day Health provides activities, nursing, occupational, speech and physical therapies and social services. This program is one of only two programs in San Mateo County to offer meaningful medical services for frail and/or disabled seniors, much more than just traditional day care. Our goal is simple, to avoid the need for a nursing home.

What people say about Senior Focus?
Every year families served at Senior Focus were asked to answer a few questions about how we are doing?
The following comments are taking from a satisfaction survey:
“My mother looks forward to the programs because she likes and enjoys them. Blood pressure, sugar count is monitored closely. Good support program, good choice of activities like painting, music, etc.”
“Helping to stimulate my mom in ways that we simply are not able to do.”
“My mother’s health has improved both physically and mentally.”
“He cannot remember what he did, but he comes home so happy and says everyone was so kind and helpful.”
“He’s more sociable and is initiating things and asserting himself a bit more.”
“He seems more alert and happier.”
“He is more open minded and has a lot of stories to talk about.”
“Always looking forward to not worrying about her. We know she’s getting involved in different activities that make her happy at Senior Focus.”
“It would be hard to find another program that provides so many services.”
“I look forward to those days for myself; it’s like a weekend for me.”
Without Senior Focus –
“He would be home with his nurse all day…isolated. He looks forward to going and being with his friends and the activities. It is a bright spot in his week.”
“I couldn’t have any help towards my health or much contact with the outside world.”
“My mother would have no where to go to socialize during the day and get out of the house.”
