    Wise & Well Program for Healthy Living

    The Emanuel Friedman Wise and Well Program for Healthy Living targets the health needs of older adults in San Mateo County, particularly low-income, minority elders, 60 years of age and older. Wise and Well provides FREE screening and health education services with an emphasis on heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes, three conditions that are particularly prevalent and can be “silent” in terms of symptoms.
