Following a safe, medically supervised detoxification, programs cover all levels of care from brief inpatient rehabilitation to intensive outpatient and recovery support.
Clinical studies and experience demonstrate that successful recovery is directly related to the length of outpatient treatment. Mills-Peninsula's outpatient programs provide up to 12 weeks of treatment and support. In 2000 and 2001, our individualized approach resulted in the highest overall patient satisfaction ratings within the 26-hospital, not-for-profit Sutter Health network.
All treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team that includes: internal medicine physicians who are certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine; psychologists; family and chemical dependency therapists; licensed nurses experienced in detoxification; and occupational and recreation therapists.
